                  “DID YOU KNOW E-COMMERCE ACTUALLY
                        STARTED IN THE 1800’s??”

    Here’s How A Famous Mid-Western Entrepreneur started
                    E-Commerce Over 100 Years Ago,
And I’ll Show You How You Can Use His Exact Same Strategies
To Flood Your Business With More Leads, Customers and
Sales Than You Ever Thought Possible!!

Dear Friend and Subscriber,

This issue of George Allan Letter is worth real money to
you.

Do you want a guaranteed income from week to week, without
having to worry about how much money you are going to make
from your online business?

This is a report you should read, if you are serious about
making money on the Internet.

It could quite possibly be the most informative letter you
have read this year about Internet marketing.

I want to tell you the story of one of the most successful
business entrepreneurs in the world.  One of the kings of
merchandising in this country and how he became one of the
pioneers of e-commerce…back in the 1800’s.

In the 1800’s, there was a man by the name of Richard Warren
Sears.

At the time, Sears needed a good job to support his family
after the passing of his father.  He ended up getting a job
on the railroad as a station agent.

However, Sears always had a desire to be an entrepreneur.

So, what does this have to do with you?  Patience we’re
getting to the good part…

One day fate took its course, Sears got his big break.  A
shipping company was stuck with a surplus of watches after a
local jeweller had refused an order.  Sears found out about
it and ceased the opportunity.

He had an idea on how he could sell these watches.

At that time, there was a new electronic communication tool
that was being used around the country, called….the
telegraph.

In fact, the railroad fully relied on this means of
communication.

Now, because Sears worked for the railroad, he knew of its
effectiveness.

So, he paid Western Union to send out his sales letter, by
telegraph, to every station agent that worked for the
railroad.

He knew station agents lived by the time, for their job
depended on it, and knew there would be a need for these
watches.

He immediately sold all of the watches and made a $5000
profit.

This was…the beginning of electronic commerce in its
primitive form!

Sears expanded his operations from there.  He believed the
rural communities were a goldmine of wealth.  Even though at
the time they didn’t have telephone, radio or television,
that they have today.

However, they had one very important thing…the postal
system.  In fact, everyone had postal service.  With the
postal system they could receive newspapers, magazines and
mail.

Then Sears decided to expand into more than just watches. He
expanded to jewelry and diamonds.

He decided to take advantage of the postal system. He
created a mail order catalogue on his different products and
mailed it to people all over, especially in the rural areas,
where they did not have access to such merchandise.

He wrote all of the ads in the catalogue himself and called
his catalogue the “Wish Book”.

The orders from that catalogue were overwhelming.  Now most
of you know, they still have the “Wish Book” to this day.

Now, the good stuff.

Do you see a similarity between this type of marketing and
Direct Internet marketing?

Richard Sears blazed a new trail for E-Commerce and he did
it with a simple but effective strategy.  The strategy was
to use what we call in business a “direct” type of
marketing.

“Push” marketing happens when you go to the customer with
your advertising rather than wait for them to come to you.

Right now on the Internet there is an effective type of
“push” marketing, called “Opt-In E-Mail marketing”.  Opt-In
E-Mail marketing uses the same techniques as Sears used 100
years ago with the telegraph and direct consumer advertising
with the catalogues.

Opt-In :
———————-
Opt-In E-mail, aka, “Permission marketing”, sends an
electronic message right to the persons email.

The reason it is so effective is because the ones who are
receiving the sales letter are people who have raised their
hands and requested to receive information about what you
have to sell.

Sears also used other forms of marketing that were very
effective for him.  Again, he wanted to target the rural
markets, so he advertised in places they were reading.  So
to target these lucrative rural customers,

Sears put ads in all the rural newspapers and the results
were tremendous.

What does this have to do with the Internet?

Did you know the hottest mail on the Internet is Ezine mail.

Ezine mail is similar to the newspapers or magazines that
were read in the olden days. However, Ezines are electronic
magazines or newsletters, rather than paper newspapers.

They are similar to this one you are reading. Here you can
put advertisement for your target audience to see.

This is one of the hottest forms of advertising right now
because people are hot for the information that Ezine’s
contains.

Subscribers can’t wait for the next issue of an Ezine to
come out because it usually keeps a person up to date on
information in a specific area.  When people are hot to read
an article, you know your advertising will get read.

Therefore, it is very effective advertising.

Normally Ezine company’s allows a few advertisements in each
article.

For more information on a list of Ezine that relate to your
target area view some of the links we have provided below.

Again, this shows you the vision one man had and how he
started from th”grassroots” level to one of the leaders in
mass merchandising in this country.

So his business grew.  And grew so fast that he left the
railroad for good… and as they say, the rest is
history…because as you know today,

Sears is one of the leading department stores in the world!!

In fact, Sears is still using many of the same strategies
that made them so successful.

Now you can apply these same techniques for your own
business.

On our next blog, “The Worlds Most Powerful & Easy Way to
Make Money Online!” We will report on actual businesses that
have become very successful using these same types of
Internet marketing techniques.  It will detail who they are,
what secret strategies they’ve used and how you can do the
same.
